Monitoring of urinary flow patterns. Search for your patient from here.
Uroflowmetry is a noninvasive diagnostic test that is widely used to assess how well the urinary tract is working by tracking how fast urine flows, how much urine comes out, and how long it takes to, at best, empty, the bladder.
Please go to the Mobile App to participate, and you will have a tool to classify whether the sound uroflowmetry trace corresponds to a normal or abnormal pattern, according to the four standardized classification patterns: "normal", "fluctuating", " intermittent" and "plateau" with comments on symmetry and maximum flow, and monitor each patient individually (urination diary) on their evolution over time. For this, we will use a smart watch as a basis to develop a sound uroflowmetry system. Therefore, the feasibility and suitability of using this device will have to be evaluated. And, secondly, to evaluate the accuracy of machine learning techniques to support the automatic identification of non-communicable pathologies associated with the urinary tract from the sound uroflowmetry trace.
